Betrayal 1

Am sure this is not new to you; you have done it, once to a million times. To your friends, classmates, parents, guardians, colleagues, even to a stranger. Dear, you've told someone else's secrets once in a while. It's not all about secrets though; it's how you talk about others, the image you create on others about somebody else, it's how you make others change their views on someone else's values or beliefs. You don't know shit, but you ruin someone's life with that little lie. You've been disloyal, you've lied to get your ass out of trouble, that single excuse and the whole world will know how shady this other person is.

Say, the tale of the scorpion and the frog. The scorpion asks the frog to carry him across the river, at first the frog is afraid that he'll be stung by the scorpion, but the scorpion argues that if he did, then they both will drown. The frog then agrees and carries him, but midway, the scorpion stings the frog putting them in danger. You know what the scorpion says after that? "It's my nature".

It's our fucking nature to betray the people around us despite the concequences, despite the outcome. It's your nature to slip on another person. Even Adam lied to God from when he hid to when he was asked why he hid.

Betrayal is when you sneeze and the enemy finds you.
